Yesterday, my landlady FINALLY replied to me with the exact address of my piso. For my American friends, that means my apartment. I am quickly learning that my Woody Allen-neurotic-impatient ways will be getting a beating into submission with the laid back- Annie Hall- lifestyle of Madrileños. Immediately after receiving my address, I put it in my Google Maps and voila! I was virtually walking my block.
Join me for a walk around my block…

Thanks to Google Maps, I have learned a few things about my future home:
- I am severely close to cafes, bars and evidently Chinese restaurants so I will never run the risk of starving to death
- I should invest in noise-cancelling headphones due to my proximity to one of the loudest parts of Madrid ( although, I’m sure I’ll adjust)
- I will have plenty of light posts to re-enact my “Singin’ in the Rain” scene
” Oh! the places you’ll go!”
